Flexible Tutoring Opportunities Across All Age Groups
We're looking for PGCE-qualified Tutors to support children and young people across the BCP area through personalised 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored educational support to learners ranging from primary age through to post-16. Every placement is different, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups, subjects, and learning needs while helping students achieve positive outcomes. Many of the learners we support require alternative educational provision and benefit from a tutor who can build confidence, adapt learning to individual needs, and create a positive educational experience.

Requirements
- PGCE qualification
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in an educational setting, including teaching, tutoring, learning support, mentoring, teaching assistant, or similar roles
- Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area

- EHCPs and additional educational needs
