The Role
This position will involve full class teacher responsibilities within Key Stage 2, including planning, assessment, and the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assess and evaluate pupil progress, using data to inform future teaching
- Maintain a well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Support pupils' academic achievement as well as their social and emotional development
- Engage with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective instructional practice
- Possess confident classroom management skills
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team
Essential Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two satisfactory references relating to working with children
