We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive primary school in the Bolton area that is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils at an important stage in their educational development, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately. This long-term temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, with the potential for extension based on performance and school needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with clear expectations
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience within Key Stage 1
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic in their approach
- Possess effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable and committed to supporting all learners
