Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
A Primary School in Bolton is seeking a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Mentor Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of pupils across KS2 in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted interventions and mentoring for pupils in KS2
Support teaching and learning through small group and one-to-one sessions
Assist in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reports and reviews
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environmentRequirements
HLTA qualification or equivalent mentoring/SEN experience
Experience working with children with SEN, xiskglj including ASD, ADHD, SEMH
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Resilience, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education
