Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 1/2 class and will be supported by an experienced leadership team and classroom support staff.
The Role:
- Full class teaching responsibility for a Year 1/2 class
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
