Prospero Teaching are working with schools across Birmingham who are urgently seeking committed, passionate Supply Teachers to join our team. For over a decade, Prospero Teaching have worked closely with primary schools across Birmingham who are actively seeking teachers to work across their schools due to an increased demand for supply staff.

We are able to offer a wide range of schools and vacancies to you for day-to-day work, long-term cover, and permanent positions.

The Role: As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial part in supporting schools in the absence of the class teacher. You will be expected to go in and deliver the day's lesson and mark the work throughout the day. You will be able to pick and choose what schools you wish to work in and decline any schools you decide aren’t right for you. We are working with various schools across Alum Rock, Small Heath, Nechells, Handsworth, Selly Oak, Northfield, Stechford, Kingstanding, Erdington and many other areas so wherever you are in Birmingham we can help with finding work!

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, QTLS)
  • A minimum of 2 months UK teaching experience.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
