Prospero Teaching is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Midlands. Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching? This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into a PGCE, School Direct, Teacher Apprenticeship or another career within education.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. No lesson planning or marking is required, allowing you to focus on developing your confidence and classroom management skills.
We work with a wide range of mainstream secondary schools, academies and colleges, offering flexible day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent opportunities. This role is ideal for graduates interested in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, behaviour support or pastoral roles.
We welcome applications from graduates in English, Maths, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, History, Geography, Languages, Psychology, Business, PE, Sports Science, Art, Music and other relevant degree subjects. Previous experience working with children or young people through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, volunteering or youth work is beneficial but not essential.

- A positive and professional attitude
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- The right to work in the UK
