Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a welcoming and supportive primary school in Castle Bromwich seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a nurturing school environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school. You will assist pupils on a one-to-one basis, support small group interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where all children can thrive. The role may also include supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
This is a part-time, term-time only position and would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to further develop their career within education.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to support pupils with varying learning needs
- Hold a Level 3 TA qualification
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
