Location: Saltley, Birmingham

Position Type: Full-Time | Term Time Only (Monday to Friday, 8:00AM 4:00PM)

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

Prospero Teaching is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Saltley that is seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to join their supportive office team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and is looking to make a meaningful impact in a school community.

About the Role:

  • Work as part of a close-knit school office team to support day-to-day operations
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and school communications efficiently
  • Assist with pupil attendance, admissions, and safeguarding records
  • Provide admin support to senior leaders, teaching staff, and the wider school team
  • Use school systems and software to maintain accurate data and records

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working in a busy administrative environment, ideally within a school
  • A team-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills and experience using MIS systems such as SIMS or Arbor
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • A calm, flexible, and professional approach

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • A valid Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Two professional references (covering the minimum of the last two years)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
