Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Handsworth for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time teaching role with full classroom responsibility, continuing for two terms. The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can create an engaging learning environment and positively contribute to the wider school community.
The Role:
- Teaching a KS1 class on a full-time basis
- Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
- Delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitoring pupil progress and supporting attainment
- Working collaboratively with staff, parents and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within KS1
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be committed, reliable and enthusiastic about primary education
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
