Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham, from after May half term until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years teacher or a passionate primary teacher with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum to join a supportive and nurturing school environment. The role will involve full class teaching responsibility for a Reception class of 20 pupils.

The Role:
- Full class teaching responsibility for a Reception class of 20 children
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Delivering phonics and early learning activities
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and the wider school team
- Maintaining positive behaviour management strategies within the classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have previous EYFS teaching experience
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics delivery
- Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be passionate about supporting young children in the early stages of learning
- Be adaptable and able to build positive relationships quickly
