Prospero Teaching is recruiting qualified Food Technology Teachers to work across secondary schools and academies throughout the Midlands.

We are looking for enthusiastic Food Technology specialists for flexible daily supply, long-term placements and permanent opportunities.

Roles may involve teaching Food Technology and Food Preparation & Nutrition across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with further opportunities depending on the school.

You may be responsible for delivering practical and theory-based lessons, teaching food preparation and nutrition, maintaining safe working practices and supporting students working towards GCSE or vocational qualifications.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers and teachers returning to the profession.

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrate strong Food Technology subject knowledge and have effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

You must have the right to work in the UK and hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
