Prospero Teaching are looking for dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work with schools across Birmingham. So If youre patient, resilient, and ready to help pupils thrive, we want to hear from you!
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: Ongoing positions available ASAP
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities
Pay: Competitive daily rates
What Were Looking For:
Minimum 6 months UK-based experience in a similar SEND/TA role
Strong understanding of SEND needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
Confidence supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
What Youll Be Doing:
· Supporting children with a range of additional needs in mainstream or SEND-specific settings
· Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
· Encouraging independence, confidence, and progress in each pupil
· Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
