The Opportunity
/n
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Knowsley.
/n
This rewarding role involves supporting learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
/n
Working on a one-to-one basis, you'll create engaging lessons tailored to each learner's individual needs, building confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

Position Details

* Location: Knowsley
/n * Position: SEND Tutor
/n * Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
/n * Start Date: September 2026
/n * Duration: Ongoing
/n
Experience, Training and Qualifications
/n
The successful candidate will have:
/n
* Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
/n * QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
/n * Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
/n * A patient, flexible and engaging teaching approach
/n
To be eligible, you must:
/n
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
/n * Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
/n * Provide two professional child-related references
/n
