We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator for a temporary to permanent contract within a SEN school based in Knowsley. Working closely with the Finance Manager/Business Manager, the postholder will provide hands-on support across the full range of day-to-day finance operations. The role requires someone confident, adaptable, and able to step into both finance assistant duties and selected elements of the Finance Manager’s routine workload.
Strong working knowledge of Arbor MIS System is required.
The School: A Pupil Referral Unit situated in the borough of Knowsley on Merseyside, providing a quality educational experience for students who have or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to medical, social, emotional or behavioural needs. Support young people to develop alternative strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalised curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.
General Duties:
- Experience of Arbor MIS system
- Oversee the purchase order lifecycle from requisition to delivery, liaising with staff to ensure financial regulations are met
- Liaise effectively with suppliers when sourcing quotations to evidence best value purchasing
- Manage the purchase invoice
