We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our dynamic and supportive team. In this vital role, you will work closely with students who need additional guidance, helping them to develop positive behaviours, build emotional resilience, and succeed both in and outside of the classroom.
What You\’ll Do
- Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis to improve behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
- Build trusting relationships that foster personal growth and self-esteem
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement behaviour plans and strategies
- Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and reflection
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to the wider pastoral and leadership team
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs (school, youth work, or similar)
- Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
- A calm, compassionate, and consistent approach
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and build rapport
