About the Role
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a welcoming school in the Wirral area. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, nurturing, and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children with additional needs.

- Have previous experience working with children with SEND

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
- Up to date Safeguarding training (preferred but can be provided)
- Previous experience working within a UK school setting
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
