Prospero Teaching are seeking a flexible Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wirral.
The role would suit an adaptable educator who can confidently support a secondary-aged learner across core subjects while creating engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised 1:1 tuition
- Support learning across relevant secondary subjects
- Plan engaging and appropriately challenging sessions
- Adapt delivery according to learner progress
- Encourage positive attitudes towards education
- Build a strong professional relationship with the learner
- Provide feedback on progress and engagement
Requirements
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
- Ability to adapt lessons to different abilities and needs
- Excellent communication and organisation
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
