Prospero Teaching are recruiting a passionate and committed KS3/4 Maths Teacher to support secondary schools across the Wirral from February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths specialist who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to build confidence and strong numeracy skills across KS3 and KS4.
The role:
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging maths lessons that support pupils' understanding, problem-solving skills and exam preparation.
- Work closely with maths departments and pastoral teams to help pupils progress academically and remain motivated in the classroom.
- Maintain high expectations while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3/4
- Teaching core maths topics in line with curriculum requirements
- Preparing pupils for exams through effective revision and assessment
- Tracking, assessing and reporting on pupil progress
- Creating a positive, focused and inclusive classroom environment
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with subject colleagues and pastoral teams
