Prospero Teaching are looking for a versatile English and Maths Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wirral.
This opportunity would suit an adaptable educator who can support the development of core skills, build a positive relationship with the learner and make lessons engaging and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised English and Maths tuition
- Plan sessions around individual learning objectives
- Support literacy and numeracy development
- Identify and address gaps in learning
- Adapt resources and teaching approaches
- Encourage confidence and engagement
- Track progress and provide feedback
Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths
- Strong subject knowledge
- Experience working with children or young people
- Previous 1:1 tuition experience desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Patient and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
