We are seeking motivated and reliable Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners of varying ages and abilities. This is a rewarding role for individuals passionate about personalised education and supporting learners to reach their potential.
About the Role
- Provide 1:1 tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and/or Functional Skills
- Deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions tailored to each learner's needs
- Support learners with a range of abilities, needs, and learning styles
- Track progress, set targets, and adapt teaching approaches where required
- Work across home, school, or community settings, depending on placement
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working in UK schools
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science
- Experience in tutoring or teaching, including schools, intervention work, tuition centres, or mentoring
- The ability to build positive, supportive relationships with learners
- A reliable, organised, and confident approach to working independently
- A current enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
