Prospero Teaching is recruiting confident and proactive Unqualified Teachers to support secondary schools in the Basingstoke area. This role offers the opportunity to lead classes, deliver pre-planned lesson content, and gain valuable paid classroom experience without needing QTS.
You'll take responsibility for lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and working productively. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, tutors, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people who wants hands-on experience in schools.
Work is available on a full-time, long-term, or flexible day-to-day basis depending on your availability.
- Supervise pupils and maintain classroom routines
- Manage behaviour in line with school expectations
- Work with pupils across KS3 and KS4
- Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently
Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, etc.) is essential. Graduates or aspiring teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
