We are a newly established independent specialist school set in the beautiful Surrey Hills, dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 7-16 with autism and associated social, emotional, and mental health needs. The Role

As Head of Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school. You will:

  • Lead the development of outstanding teaching and learning across all phases.
  • Design and implement a progressive, sequenced whole‑school curriculum.
  • Line manage and inspire teaching and subject staff, embedding inclusive strategies.
  • Drive assessment, self‑evaluation, and inspection readiness.
  • Foster a collaborative, reflective, and high‑performing staff culture.

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about transforming lives through education. You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of improving teaching quality and pupil outcomes.
  • Experience in curriculum design, assessment, and school improvement (middle leadership essential; senior leadership desirable).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of autism and EHCP processes (advantageous but not essential).
