Prospero Teaching are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to support one of our partner schools in the Andover area. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and can inspire students' creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving across Key Stages 3-4.
What we're looking for:
- Confident teaching across key DT areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, Textiles, or Food
- Strong awareness of workshop safety and confident use of tools and equipment
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Positive, consistent classroom-management skills
- A collaborative, proactive approach within the DT department
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with a passion for practical learning.
Contract details:
- Location - Andover, Hampshire
- Position - DT Teacher
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Temporary / Long-term
- Duration - Ongoing
- Full time
- Pay - GBP168 to GBP261 per day (dependent on experience and payscale)
