Prospero Teaching are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to support one of our partner schools in the Andover area. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and can inspire students' creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving across Key Stages 3-4.

What we're looking for:

  • Confident teaching across key DT areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, Textiles, or Food
  • Strong awareness of workshop safety and confident use of tools and equipment
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Positive, consistent classroom-management skills
  • A collaborative, proactive approach within the DT department

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with a passion for practical learning.

Contract details:

  • Location - Andover, Hampshire
  • Position - DT Teacher
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Contract type - Temporary / Long-term
  • Duration - Ongoing
  • Full time
  • Pay - GBP168 to GBP261 per day (dependent on experience and payscale)

Eligibility:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong curriculum knowledge across KS3-KS4 DT
  • Confident workshop practice and commitment to safety
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to high teaching standards
