Prospero Teaching is looking for a friendly, proactive General Classroom Support Assistant to work across primary and secondary year groups in a welcoming school setting in Andover. This role involves supporting teachers and pupils across different subjects and age ranges, providing additional help during lessons, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
- Support teachers across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Provide general classroom assistance and help maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Work with pupils who need extra guidance during lessons
- Assist with group activities, resources, and learning tasks
- Offer encouragement to promote confidence and progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour and routines
- Adapt support to meet pupils' varying needs throughout the school day
Ideal Candidate:

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
- Experience working with children desirable
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)
- Understanding of classroom behaviour expectations beneficial
Eligibility:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to provide two references
