We're looking for Tutors to support children and young people in Aldershot and the surrounding areas through personalised 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored educational support to learners who require alternative provision. The students we support are of varying ages and abilities, with many benefiting from additional help to rebuild confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and make meaningful educational progress.
Whether your background is in primary education, secondary education, core subjects, specialist subjects, Functional Skills, or SEN support, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
- Strong subject knowledge in your area of expertise
- Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally around Aldershot and surrounding areas

- Anxiety and school avoidance
