Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified After-School Tutor to join our team in Barnet. This role is ideal for a fully qualified teacher (QTS) who is looking to make a real difference in a more flexible, small-group or 1:1 setting outside of the traditional classroom.
You will be supporting primary and/or secondary students with homework help, subject-specific tutoring, and targeted intervention – all designed to boost confidence and improve academic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, tailored tutoring sessions for KS1-KS4 students (depending on your expertise)
- Assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Support pupils with core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Provide regular feedback to parents and the tutoring coordinator

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
