We are seeking a highly organised, efficient, and reliable School Administrator to join a secondary school in Liverpool as soon as possible. As a key point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations.

Location - Liverpool, L25

Type of work - Long Term, potential to be temp-perm

Start date - As soon as possible

Full time/part time - Full time

Pay: Paid to scale

Hours - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support in the school office and to offer a warm welcome to all visitors
  • Managing school communications including emails, letters, and phone calls
  • Maintaining accurate student records and attendance data
  • Supporting the Headteacher and staff with administrative tasks
  • Assisting with the coordination of school events and activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong administrative and IT skills (SIMS experience desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and work well under pressure
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Prior experience in a school or education setting

To be eligible:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Ability to provide references that cover at least 24 months worked and where possible 2 roles where you have worked with children
