Our Secondary Tutors provide essential support to learners who need extra help in core subjects. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 or small group lessons in KS3/KS4 Maths and English.
  • Adapt teaching methods and lesson pace to suit individual learning styles.
  • Build students’ subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
  • Create a calm, supportive learning environment with consistent rapport.
  • Monitor progress and share clear, constructive feedback with parents, carers, or professionals.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring secondary Maths or English.
  • Experience working 1:1 or with small groups.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

  • PGCE (Secondary) and/or QTS.
  • Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.

Successful applicants must complete full safeguarding and vetting checks. All staff working with children and vulnerable young people share responsibility for promoting their welfare.
