We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Bury area. - Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Pay: Paid to Scale - PTS
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and highâquality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and wellâmanaged classroom environment
- Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
- Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff
- Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and wider school life
Experience, Training & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school (ECTs encouraged to apply)
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English
- Upâtoâdate safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this)
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK
