Support Students Through Their Next Academic Step
We're looking for A-Level Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 support to students across Dorset. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support young people who require alternative educational provision or additional academic support to achieve their full potential. Students may be studying a range of A-Level subjects and benefit from tailored tuition that helps strengthen subject knowledge, improve confidence, and prepare for examinations. This opportunity is well suited to experienced educators who enjoy working with older learners and delivering focused, high-quality tuition.

Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more A-Level subjects
- Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated sessions
- Experience supporting students with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and build positive relationships with learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within Dorset
