A-level ECT Economics Teacher

Sixth Form in Kesington

ASAP start

Prospero Teaching is looking for an ECT Teacher to work for a Sixth Form in Kesington starting immediately! Excellent understanding of assessment and differentiation is essential order to enable the young adults to make progress at the best possible rate.

You will need to have a strong understanding of the KS5 curriculum for this Economics subject, and be an engaging teacher who can enthuse and motivate the children with their learning. A creative approach to teaching, and the ability to make innovative links between subjects, is required.

This is a friendly and welcoming school where the staff team works extremely hard to give every child the provision they need to succeed academically, and develop well socially and emotionally.

Requirements

  • A good degree, preferably from a Russell Group university.

  • Strong A-level results.

  • Experience in private education is preferred.

  • Candidates should have experience teaching relevant subjects to GCSE and/or A-level students.

  • Experience, Training and Qualifications:

    It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK Secondary school. You will also need to have up to date Safeguarding training. You can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

    To be eligible for any role with Prospero Teaching, you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references which cover the last two full years
