Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Our vibrant and inclusive school in Preston is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 teaching assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Learning Delay (GLD).
The Role:
- You will provide tailored, 1:1 support to the child, helping them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally, whilst working alongside the other staff and external agencies.
- You will be required to implement intervention strategies and individualised plans to meet the specific needs of the child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the child in their learning and development, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Fostering the child's independence and confidence.
- Working collaboratively with the teaching staff and external professionals.
- Monitoring and recording progress, addressing challenges effectively.
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
