Childrens Support Worker Vacancies Available Role: Children Support Worker Location: Across the North East of England Pay: £15 – £20 ph Hours: · Long days (8am – 11pm) and sleep in · Shorter day shifts with varied times · 12 hour shifts 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am About the role These roles will be working with children and young people with a range of Mental Health issues. You will be required to have experience working in a similar role. These positions are on a 2 to 1 basis. Duties include: · You will be required to ensure that children and young people are provided with the highest quality of care possible and to assist them reaching their fullest potential. · To ensure children's safety and well-being is appropriately protected at all times · To provide high standard help, care and support · To enable clients / families or children and young people (as appropriate) to enjoy a range of food and support them to buy their food from various places including markets/ super markets or specialist shops The young people involved in these placements can have a range of needs, including: · Challenging & aggressive behaviour · Learning disability · Autistic Spectrum Condition · ADHD · Personality Disorder · Self-Injury · Mental Health diagnosis
