Flexible shift options – We can offer block shift bookings for long day sleep shifts (e.g. 2/3/4/5 days of straight shifts) Opportunities to develop your skills with ongoing training and support Location: Newcastle Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm Day / 8pm – 8am Night / 8am -11pm + Sleep About the role: As a Children & Young People\’s Support Worker, you\’ll play a vital role in supporting young people within residential settings and the community. Working with at least 2:1 staffing ratio, you\’ll be ensuring safety, stability, and quality care always. You\’ll be: Building positive, trusting relationships with young people. Supporting daily routines (from school runs and appointments to bedtimes and activities). Encouraging independence and personal development. Keeping accurate daily records (emotions, routines, activities, food diaries, and more). Helping manage money responsibly and keeping receipts. Identifying and reporting any safeguarding concerns. Supporting with personal care and household tasks when needed. Handling behaviour that challenges with patience, resilience, and confidence.
