Are you a resilient, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? We are currently recruiting for two 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a specialist setting. These rewarding roles are ideal for candidates with an Early Years, Primary, SEN or SEMH background who are passionate about helping young people thrive.

Male 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Year 7 Pupil

Supporting a Year 7 pupil with Attachment Disorder and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The pupil enjoys building, creating and physical activity, and responds well to calm, nurturing adults who can provide consistency and strong relationships.

Female 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Year 9 Pupil

Supporting a Year 9 pupil with a fantastic sense of humour who requires a resilient and confident adult able to maintain clear boundaries. The successful candidate must be able to manage challenging situations calmly, as the pupil can struggle to distinguish fantasy from reality, may attempt to leave supervised areas, and can display low-level physical behaviours when dysregulated.

We're Looking For:

  • Teaching Assistants with SEN, SEMH, Primary or Early Years experience
  • Calm, patient and emotionally resilient individuals
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Candidates who can start immediately
  • Fully compliant applicants ready for work
  • Drivers preferred due to the school's location

What We Offer:

  • Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm)
  • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
  • Dedicated development time
  • Staff wellbeing activities and team events
  • Free on-site parking
  • Complimentary meals and refreshments
  • A rewarding opportunity to positively impact a young person's life

If you have the skills, resilience and passion to support pupils with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.
