The Role - Science Teacher
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop students' scientific knowledge, practical skills and ability to evaluate evidence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Adapting teaching to support different abilities, including students with SEND
- Planning safe, purposeful practical activities
- Developing scientific vocabulary, enquiry and problem-solving skills
- Assessing understanding and preparing students for examinations
- Maintaining clear expectations and a positive classroom environment
