Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in West Drayton.
The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Speech & Language Difficulties, and SEMH needs, providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and socially.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEN within the classroom
- Delivering 1:1 and small group support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Assisting students with academic and social development
- Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping implement EHCP targets and individual support plans
Contract Details
- Location: West Drayton
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Temporary with potential for permanent opportunities
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Full-Time: Yes
- Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or young people desirable
- SEN, education, support work, care, or youth work experience beneficial
- Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
To Be Eligible For This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
