Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in the Warrington area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full-time temporary position starting in January and continuing until the end of the academic year. The role will primarily involve teaching Key Stage 3 Maths and is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective KS3 Maths lessons.
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and wider school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about improving outcomes and inspiring young people.
- Can commit to a full-time teaching role from January until Summer 2027.
