SEMH TA: Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to deliver person centred support to pupils who present high levels of challenging behaviours associated with SEMH issues at a school near Preston. The candidate must have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, preferably with de-escalation training. The successful candidate will be keen to make a difference, being empathetic and understanding. You must be confident working on a 1-1 basis. Contract Details: Role: SEMH TA Location: Preston Hours: 0830:1530 (during term time) Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day (dependant on experience) Type of work: Temporary Full time/part time: Full time only Start date: January Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided) Previous experience with Team Teach training Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references …
