Location: Stockport
Hours: 7:30am - 6:00pm, 2 days per week
Contract: Temporary
Start: ASAP
Pay: £125 - £150 per day

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting a dedicated Nursery Assistant to work within a friendly nursery setting in Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous early years experience who are committed to providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for young children.
Nursery Assistant - Responsibilities
Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
Assist in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
Support daily routines including meal times, personal hygiene and outdoor play
Encourage children's social, emotional and communication development
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Assist with observations and record keeping where required
Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times
Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team
Nursery Assistant - Requirements
Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
Two professional references covering the last two years
Clear CV history with explanations for any employment or study gaps
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting is essential
A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good understanding of safeguarding practices
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential
