SEN Teacher - January Start!

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Class Teacher to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational SEN Settings in Amble on a full-time and long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development. About the Role: The role will involve Teaching three KS3 aged pupils who are working at KS1 level. Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress. Teaching 3 Secondary aged pupils within a SEN setting who have a wide range of SEN and challenging behaviour Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments. Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils. Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
