Flexible 1:1 Tutoring Opportunities in the GU17 Area
We're looking for Tutors to support children and young people in the GU17 area through personalised 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored educational support to learners who require alternative provision. Students may be of varying ages and abilities, with many benefiting from additional support to rebuild confidence, engage positively with learning, and achieve meaningful educational outcomes.
We're interested in hearing from tutors with experience in core subjects, specialist subjects, primary, secondary, Functional Skills, and SEN support.

Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
- Strong subject knowledge in your area of expertise
- Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the GU17 area

- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Anxiety and school avoidance
- EHCPs and additional educational needs
