We are seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Personalised Learning Assistants to join a supportive specialist education school in the Southampton area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and professionals, helping pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The Role
As a Personalised Learning Assistant, you will support children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You will play a key role in their learning, development, wellbeing, and independence, while also supporting personal care and medical needs where required.

- Minimum rate of pay: £140 per day
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Experience and Training
- Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Previous experience working in a UK School
- Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)
To Be Eligible, You Must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional, child-related references
