As a Learning & Behaviour Support Assistant you will use your teaching experience to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve positive educational outcomes.
Working collaboratively with pupils, families, and education professionals, you will provide specialist guidance, model effective strategies, and promote inclusive practices that support long-term success.
The Role
- Work collaboratively with school leaders and staff to offer advice, guidance, and strategies that promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and support, building positive relationships and nurturing pupil engagement.
- Support schools in developing effective plans and strengthening their capacity to meet individual needs.

Experience and Training
- Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Previous experience working in a UK School
- Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided) xgikmsk
- To Be Eligible, You Must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional, child-related references
