We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Assistant Head to join an alternative provision setting in the Worcester area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is passionate about supporting young people who may have faced barriers to accessing mainstream education. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher, leading staff and helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where every young person has the opportunity to succeed.
The role:
- Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership and management of the provision.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to teaching and support staff.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of effective educational and pastoral strategies.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals.
- Contribute to safeguarding and the wider wellbeing of all pupils.
- Help drive continuous improvement across the provision.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This is a 5-day-per-week, full-time position based in the Worcester area.
