Functional Skills Mentor Support Young People Beyond the Classroom We're looking for a Functional Skills Mentor to support children and young people across Hampshire through personalised 1:1 mentoring and practical learning support. Working on behalf of Local Authorities , you'll help learners develop essential English and Maths skills while building confidence, independence, and engagement with education. This role is ideal for those who enjoy supporting young people in a less formal environment, focusing on motivation, personal development, and practical learning rather than traditional classroom teaching. Many of the learners you support will benefit from a trusted adult who can encourage positive routines, strengthen core skills, and help them overcome barriers to education.
