The Opportunity Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND. We are currently looking for complex needs tutors who have experience supporting children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe learning difficulties as well as physical disabilities including cerebral palsy. Some of the children and young people we provide support for are non verbal and rely on prompts from an adult, if these young people struggle to be understood, this can result in them becoming frustrated and potentially act out and may become violent. Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have sufficient complex needs experience and have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
