Are you an experienced and qualified Early Years Educator looking to take the next step in your childcare career? We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner with strong leadership skills and substantial nursery experience to play a key role in delivering outstanding early years education and care.
What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the toddler room, ensuring high standards of care and education
- Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
- Mentor and support room staff to maintain best practice
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
- Maintain accurate observations, assessments, and children's records
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (CACHE, NVQ, Diploma, or equivalent) - Mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a nursery setting - Mandatory
- Experience leading a room or supervising staff is highly desirable
- Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Leadership - Preferred
- Previous professional childcare experience - Mandatory
- Minimum of 24 months of referenceable employment history - Mandatory
- Professional references must be provided from company/professional email addresses only - Mandatory
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
