The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting.
- Be patient, understanding and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be reliable, proactive and passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
The role will involve:
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs in the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- Helping pupils access learning activities and develop independence.
- Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals.
- Supporting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
